okays.. its my second night and for some reason i jus couldn't get my way to dreamland this morning.. so my eyes are so super dry.. had no appetite to eat a single thing too.. probably the extreme lack of sleep Germac said..

Germac's in charge today, for the first time.. haha.. never did assist in-charge at all either.. so far so good.. she's singing 'i love ponstan' cos it made her monthly friend go away.. wish i could have something to keep my eyes open so i can sing 'i love [something]' too.. haa.. ok not funny.. well, ya hafta forgive me cos this is wat comes out of an unrested mind..

Darling called me jus now as i dragged myself into the dept.. [thou very much i hoped it was someone else.. hai.. nvm me..] Body shop's Vit E eye cream is going for $16.90 each!! tts like super cheap!! so darling said she's gona get 2 more for herself and asked how many i want.. of cos i said 2 for me too! haha.. tried and tested.. was good lor!! oh well, not tt my eye bags and panda eyes were gone for goodness sake [i hate my nose for tt.. otherwise i love it for its not too flat look.. haha].. but the result frm it was much better than the various brands i tried.. at first when darling said there's this warm feeling when u apply and i couldn't quite understand.. so one day i tried with jus a tweenie bit more than the norm and i finally understood wat she meant!! haha..

Kak Jah's 'soup of the day' tonight.. been a long time since i last worked with her.. haha.. okays.. this part's getting abit out of point.. i'm jus keeping my fingers busy so as to keep my eyes opened.. ARGH!!! i hate this feeling!! miss my ever so comfy princessy nest.. wish i could leave together with the Es.. Grr~

Hate the feeling of uncertainty.. where things are hanging in the air.. or when u're unsure whether u've jus made yet another wrong move.. the thought of just going with the flow but the very next moment comes the contradictory thoughts.. it just keeps bugging no matter how much u tell urself to stay away frm it..

Oh well.. I'm talking nonsense again..

Juls was frantically calling me to the lockers and handed me this book tt looked rather familiar.. okays.. its the ARC[advanced resuscitation in children] book which i already had for some reasons.. and she said we're going for the course on 3rd and 4th.. which is like less than a weeks time.. WTF.. the worse has yet to come.. there's this pre-course briefing laters at 7am!!! i'm not even sure if i'll be K.O.-ded after i finish typing this.. tell me abt it man.. darling said the ARC is easy.. not sure if its like LSCN or our own mock codes.. its at PSTC so i guess they'll take the bloody video as we play our mock code.. grr.. this is so not fun!!

the Obs 2 weekly counting file is missing yet again.. y am i not surprised man.. kak jah and kak ros both starting to bug the 'touch-me-not' me.. i'm getting pissed.. like i'm the one who lost it.. argh!! okays.. shall go and count my spacers and masks before i go for my break..

Happy Birthday Ms Ore!!!

yay!! i always liked celebrations.. haha.. den everybody can gather and with our grp of ppl.. its always so crazy and fun and we'll always be the most noisy ppl ard wherever we go!! went to Hanabi @ Odeon tower on saturday to celebrate huiting's bdae.. Ms Ore finally got dress up abit le lor!! good improvement.. haha.. my sis always asked me to make her dress up or smth.. like we never tried liddat.. must see the person mah... anyways.. i was soooooooooooo HUNGRY when we reached the restaurant cos i was late, tee yu was late and everybody was late!! hahaha.. and we had to go n buy the cake despite the fact tt we're VERY LATE already.. dinner starts at 7pm and we're still at bugis waiting for tee yu the late queen to come when its like 7.30pm.. den my qin ai de called and asked us to go buy cake.. *faintz*

so the very hungry me couldn't wait to start ordering food!! haha.. no pictures taken this time round cos everybody was super hungry and jus eat the moment the plate touches the table.. haa!! we ordered like we never ate before.. the table got not enough space to put the food lor.. haha.. so we jus eat n eat n eat, erm.. not forgetting to talk n laugh lah.. haha.. cos like so long nv see juwita n my qin ai de.. for them lah.. i see my darling quite often thou.. haha! in the end we're all soooo FULL i tot my stomach was gona burst! and we still got the cake.. haha.. cut the cake and did abit of sabo thing to the bdae girl... so we left the place at ard 10pm...

after which of course will be to my usual place.. Le Bar! haha.. only 4 of us this time.. me, my qin ai de, ms ore and tee yu.. we forced tee yu to join us cos if not will be like so pathetic liddat lor.. haha.. some more is huiting's bdae.. so we took a cab down and den this cab driver was so funny.. we were talking abt work stuff, like complaining abt doctors, patients and parents etc.. den suddenly the uncle ask in mandarin, 'u all nurse ah?' den we were like, 'ah, uncle how u noe? we v obvious meh?' haha.. den he laughed n said, 'ask u all ah, how come ppl will get bile stones ah? u all nurse shld noe right?' den we paused for awhile and like, 'erm.. cholesterol?[darling said] calcium?[me n tee yu said]' haha.. we weren't sure either.. too much of paeds till we forgot all the adult stuff.. haha.. den darling said she thinks its cholesterol cos there's this 4Fs tingy which i somehow remembered too.. so we were discussing on our own wat are the 4Fs and totally ignored the uncle.. haha.. we pointed Fat, Female, Forty but jus couldn't remember the last F.. so i die oso wana get the last F right.. was trying v hard like Family, Fair etc... even when we reached Le Bar.. finally i decided the last F will be Fucker.. haha!!

Teddy was working tt day.. okays.. i all along know tt la.. which is y i brought him the souvenior frm aussie.. was a shot glass set frm movie world.. he was at work n couldn't really talk to me so he texted me and say his house got light, no need candle holder.. walau.. its a shot glass set lor!! den when i corrected him, he say he dun drink shots... kaozz.. den i got 'angry' and say dun wan jus return to me.. and he really called me to the counter and wanted to return the souvenior!! argh!!! but later when me n darling was singing he text me again n say v nice.. dunno real or bluff.. haha.. was nice to see him working at Le Bar.. at least i think the ppl there wun backstab him or wat.. hopefully lah.. haha..

anyways, was typing abt our adventure trip this morning but blogger had some problem saving.. so all tt i typed was GONE!! argh!!! irritated i decided to type the more recent updates instead.. haha.. was too lazy also lah... so i'll VERY SLOWLY do the day by day summary of the trip.. hopefully by end of june cos me n Jaime honey planning to go Batam for our spa retreat end of june!! haha.. can't wait for it to come!!!

[Back dated post] Aussie adventure trip day 3

Today we're going up the mountains!! haha.. Its the second out of the 3 day tours tt we joined.. O'reilly's and Mt Tamborine day tour.. got up super early tt day cos the pick up time was abt 0730hrs.. the agency said they had to pick us up frm our place and drop us at surfers to join the rest of the group.. erm.. actually all these while i din quite understand wat was going on cos the aussies speak with a funny accent and they speak too fast.. so i jus leave it for joy to handle.. haha.. the aussie slang was too CHIM for me to understand..

Anyways, after much confusion and wasting of our time waiting for the phantom passenger at sheraton mirage, we're on our way up the mountains! haha.. before we went up i asked joy whether there'll be curvy roads or smth.. she wasn't sure but i tot, up the mountains if not by those curvy roads den are we gona fly up there? haha.. so i jus poped my cinnarizine anyway.. i dun wana be puking all the way up ya noe.. i have motion sickness.. haha..

First stop of the day was to this Alpaca farm at the McPherson ranges.. Alpacas are this funny species where it looks like a camel+sheep.. oso can't figure out wat exactly it is.. but the scenery up there was BEAUTIFUL!!! I LUURRVEE that place!! very peaceful and relax feel.. took some pictures with the alpaca.. then we went on to the back of the farm house to have our morning tea!! we ordered a carrot cake and a lamington, and wat can i say.. they have the BEST carrot cake ever!!! literally got hooked by it okays! after tt we tried to find the same kinda carrot cake everywhere we go but its never the same.. I MISS MY CARROT CAKE!! haha.. okays.. can go to my facebook to look at the very nice sceneries there.. i can't find any better way to describe it lah.. see it for urselves.. haha..

Next will be to the O'reilly's.. [tee yu said it sounded like 'Oh really'.. haha] nothing much there.. did the tree top walk.. and fed some wild parrots.. haha.. at first i tot the tree top walk will take like 1 hr or smth to complete.. who knows its like less than 5 mins only!! haha... the more fun part was feeding the birds.. haha.. first time in my life i had birds on my hands lor!! they're so tame even thou they're wild birds.. they dun anyhow peck ppl like the crows we have here.. haa!

After feeding the birds we headed up to Mt Tamborine's Gallery Walk.. haha.. another lovely place.. had our lunch at the gallery walk cafe first and we had an option to either stay there for some shopping or go to the waterfall to see see look look.. ok.. this gallery walk is a place where ppl sell mostly their handmade things like handicrafts, quilts, ornaments, jewelleries, blah blah.. smth like a flea market but they're all in individual nice houses down the whole stretch of road.. like a small neighbourhood where everybody comes out of their house to sell things.. haha.. being me, of cos i'll choose to shop ard and see if i can find anything nice to bring back lah.. haha.. after walking ard for awhile i realised, the things they sell are jus damn bloody ex lor!! ok, u say its all handmade, which is why.. i think i can make it myself at a much cheaper cost.. haha!

Almost coming to an end of our day tour... stopped at a few lookouts on our way down.. but i was kinda tired so i closed my eyes for awhile.. the journey back home was super long! when we're down frm the mountains i tot we'll make a turn and be back to southport/surfers.. but after like 1 hr den i realised we're actually travelling towards New South Wales.. tts like another state already!! haha... but we're not going there of course.. cos another of our grp member was staying at Tweed Heads, jus next to the borders of New South Wales.. so somehow i've been to 2 states in this visit to Aus! haha..

Decided to drop at Surfers this time cos we wana have Baskin Robbins ice cream!! haha.. it made more sense to drop there directly cos den we save on our bus fare.. its really nice to eat ice cream when the weather is cold.. me n joy practically had ice creams EVERYDAY!! haha.. they dun melt so super fast like here in sg.. went to walk abt at surfers after the ice cream before we bought our McDonald's take away dinner.. oh well, its more or less like our Mac jus tt their burgers are really puny.. i tot the aussies are big eaters..

we met the most irritating/feel-like-slapping/thinks-his-blood-is-blue ang moh bastard on our way home.. their Mac dun provide u with carriers for ur drinks so u hafta hold it in ur hands.. so we were doing it and going up the bus.. den tt bastard[bus driver] din wana let us up the damn bus cos he says we have drinks on our hands and he's WORRIED that we might spill our drinks on the bus and someone else esp the children or any elderly steps on it, then slip and fall.. pui! trying to act good citizen eh? so we argued with him for like 5 mins and my blood was almost boiling.. so i jus said we'll make sure we dun spill it.. with nothing left to say, he LL and let us board the bus.. and jus when we're walking towards the back of the bus, we saw like ppl eating ice cream at the back lor! obviously his own colour ppl lah.. and there were ice cream wrappers on the floor too.. so u mean ppl wun step on the wrapper and fall meh?? kaozz.. trying to play colour.. WTF!!

Wat a way to end our day sia... Grr..

[back dated post] Aussie Adventure Trip Day 2

Woke up real early today cos we're going to the ZOO! haha.. its been YEARS since i last stepped into any zoos.. So we're at the Australia Zoo, home of the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin.. It feels like we're going back in time.. back to the primary school days where we had field visit to the Zoo.. haha.. walked ard, took some photos, bought some food to eat before we catch the crocodile show.. not exactly crocodile-ONLY-show lah.. haha.. there were other animals too.. after which we explored the almost-whole zoo[think we missed out some small parts], fed the kangaroos!! haha.. my first time up close with the kangaroos!

okays.. the Zoo in Aus is not like the Singapore Zoo where all the animals are locked up in the cage or enclosed in a small area, and u jus have no way to get close to the animals.. in the Aussie Zoo, the animals, thou still within an enclosed area, have real big and open space for them to run abt.. such tt their freedom is not exactly taken away.. and u can jus walk up to the kangaroos and feed all u want! of cos with the kangaroo feed tt u buy frm the zookeepers lah.. haha..

so as i was saying, its my first encounter up close with the roos and i got boxed by the first kangaroo i touched okays!! haha.. my lips was even bruised frm tt!! Indeed Kangaroos know boxing!! haha..

Continued walking, taking photos with the Koalas, sheep.. looked at the tigers, wombats, tasmanian devil, of cos crocodiles.. haha.. the zookeepers even let us in to the alligator area and took pictures with the leashed alligator! haha.. its only leashed, the mouth not tied okays!! haha.. scary.. Then went on and I even took a photo of me carrying a Koala! erm.. its those animal encounter place where u pay money and they let u carry the Koala and take picture of u.. i was thinking, since i'm all the way in Aussie land already might as well jus do it.. haha..

thou nothing really exciting happened in the zoo, we're both really tired towards the end and we slept thru the whole journey back home.. haha.. had our dinner at Surfers Hog's Breath Cafe.. Its this place that sell really nice steaks! or maybe we're really hungry tts y it tasted real nice.. haha! the steaks was nicely done.. not too 'rubbery'.. its jus very nice lah.. haha.. of cos the portion was too big and we simply couldn't finish it.. at first we tot of having Baskins & Robbins for dessert.. in the end we're too full to even walk already! [who says there's always room for dessert?] haha.. so jus headed home after tt lor.. ;)

[Back dated post] Aussie Adventure Trip Day 1

Okays.. its not really THAT adventurous so to speak.. but joy called it my adventure trip in facebook n i tot it sounded nice.. haha! here goes..

The adventure started on 2nd of May, Friday.. headed down to the airport with mom n dad at ard 6pm.. first time travelling alone!! excited, nervous, worried, blah blah.. had dinner at the airport after checking in.. and at 8pm, time to proceed for boarding.. was at the gates when i had to part with my mom n dad.. gave them a hug each, and thou its jus for like 10 days, my tears was almost gona fall.. when he hugged me and patted lightly on my head, tt moment... even now as i think back it still touches my heart.. haha.. okays.. maybe i'm too EMO already..

so went on after the customs and walked a long long way to my boarding gate.. T3 is jus damn BIG lor!! haha.. and really nice too.. everywhere is like so posh, even if its jus the economy class.. alone alone.. everywhere i go i'm alone.. its a different experience.. always was with my family when travelling overseas.. for a moment i tot, y din i ask someone to come along with me? but den again.. i was being stubborn and din want anyone to follow anyway.. haha..

6 1/2 hrs of flight.. at first was said to be 8 hrs, probably the pilot was too good with his skills he jus needed tt amt of time to fly to brisbane.. haha.. but really.. the whole journey was good.. i remembered i always have this fear when the plane takes off and during landing.. the funny feeling like smth's sucking u down to the ground.. haha.. but there wasn't any of such feeling this time round.. [erm.. only this flight. the one i returned frm Briabane had tt same funny feeling too..]

So, arrived at Brisbane International Airport at 0545hrs[aussie time] 3rd may.. abt an hour earlier frm the expected time.. went thru customs real smoothly.. took less than 5 mins to go thru the checking thing.. surpirsed cos joy said it'll usually take abt an hour cos they really check like every inch of ur luggage.. haha went out to the arrival hall and got a shock of my life!! the airport is REALLY SMALL!!!!! hahaha.. its supposed to be an international airport lor! its like u can see frm one end to the other easily.. no wonder Changi Airport always gets first in the ratings.. haa! walked a few steps to the airtrain counter, supposed to buy my train tickets but the counter was closed.. then there's this sign tt says approach the customer service counter at this level for enquiries.. i looked around the whole level and its either the counter is transparent or i'm jus blind.. walked ard for like 10 mins and suddenly, i saw the Airtrain sign!! haha.. but its at the 3rd level.. so i pulled the super heavy luggage[my leg kept trapping the wheels i dunno y..] and made my way up.. bought the ticket and waited for my train to arrive.. at 0700hrs, the train arrived and, it looked like our MRT! haha.. i stood at the platform waiting for it to stop and den, the door never opened! i tot probably the door was spoilt or smth so i rushed to the next opened door and went in.. afterwhich i realised, there's this button u need to press for the door to open.. haha!


arrived at Helensvale at ard 0830hrs, had to take another bus before i reach joy's place.. finally reached her place at coming 0930hrs, put my luggage at her hse and we headed to the Carrara Markets soon after.. on the way to the markets joy lost her favourite cardigan.. like so spoil our mood liddat.. haha.. so i told her kt bought her another cardigan le so its ok if she loses tt.. haha.. so not good at cheering ppl up eh? tts me lah.. haha.. walked ard the markets, had my brunch and continued walking abit.. bought my 'xiao huang xie'.. haha.. then after we went to Pacific fair shopping centre.. their shopping centres are more like our shop houses.. jus minus the house part.. haha.. all so short short de.. was really tired frm the long journey there and din really have the mood to shop.. haha.. so we bought some groceries and went back home to cook our first dinner!

its really funny how someone who doesn't cook at home cooks when she's all the way in Aussie land.. haha! i jus pictured how mommy always cook and the things she said when i always kpo while she cooks.. so we had stir fried cabbage with mushrooms, black sauce chicken breasts, and we even got soup! haha.. sumptuous meal we had.. den after we jus lazed ard, watch some tv and went to sleep.. haha.. tts abt it for Day 1.. long day huh.. :)

Home Sweet Home!

Welcome Home!! hee.. I'm saying it to myself... Back frm Aussie land!!! wonderful trip i had.. real experience.. haha.. first time travelling ALONE!! hmm.. at times i feel, would be better if i'm travelling with my partner(aussie slang.. HA!!).. but tt'll be a different experience i guess(i'll find out when i get one).. totally enjoyed myself during the whole trip.. tired though.. travelling is a tiring thing to do.. everynight i'll start to doze off at ard 10 plus aussie time.. tts so not like me.. haha.. anyways.. too much to say abt the trip.. will update soon.. day by day abt the trip.. hope i can do it.. haha.. jus viewed the videos i took and its making me sick.. shaky cos was walking and filming most of the time.. so really got no mood to type now.. haha..
