Lady luck

Was already dragging myself to work tonight.. then on the bus I realised.. I FORGOT TO BRING MY PHONE AGAIN!!!!! like for the dunno how many times lor!! hai.. now I feel so handicapped without my phone.. grr~ why am I so BLUR??!!!!

Tonight I'm out at triage with kak jah.. again, the 2 jinx out in full force.. haha.. everyone was asking us to "behave" tonight.. but then again, just as we came out from report, we're 'seeing stars' already.. heh~ okays.. I'm talking abt the ambulance la.. its a post fit case.. not too bad, so to speak.. after tt as usual pts keep coming in lor.. then there was this allergic reaction kid.. he's wheezing la.. but otherwise he's comfortable, spO2 99%.. the periorbital oedema wasn't tt bad to me.. anyways I sent in as a 9, but who noes he was brought out to resus by [ehem..] her majesty.. *faintz* after puffing him in resus, was brought back to obs2 again.. seriously got no comments for tt..

then after tt there was this father tt came running in frantically to me n said his son was having a 'heart attack'!! haha.. seriously i've nv seen a child having 'heart attack' before la.. so i ran out to his car with him to take a look.. i was expecting the child to be grasping his chest and in distress.. but he was jus sitting in the car, pale n weak and doing nothing.. so i asked if he has any medical condition.. then mommy gave me his discharge summary and realised he's known to have SVT[supraventricular tachycardia] and some congenital heart problem.. jus then darling came out to take a look too.. den when i told her is SVT, she went to the child and wanted to CARRY HIM OUT OF THE CAR!!! lol!!! tt boy is 15 yrs old lor!! and she wanted to carry him with 2 hands!! haha! after she realised she can never do it den she asked the father to help carry him to the wheelchair.. LOL!! after which we quickly push him to resus rm..

me n darling were expecting tt boy to be tubed[intubated] and den do a cardiovert or smth cos his BP was kinda low and he's pale looking.. but they jus gave adenosine and he was discharged eventually.. heh..

oh.. the docs tonight are not very fast.. or maybe there's jus too many pts.. the que is moving ever so slowly.. with tt of cos u get angry parents yelling at the nurses station, bugging at us, thinking tt way they can see the doc faster.. haha.. try harder maybe.. :P

the stubborn me was trying to type my entry at triage again.. haha.. and see wat happened.. now i hafta finish typing during my break.. and the time now is like 0430hrs.. for the whole night i never had like 5 mins free of pts lor!! geez..

Oh God.. pls make me remember to bring my phone out next time ya..
